Picked up these today. The box had a forklift fork shaped hole and another hole that looked like someone punched the box, but I didn't see any damage when I took everything out and looked it over.

 

Are those Mcneil?

 

Advanced Fiberglass Concepts

 

Installed lightly used OME 90000 and brand new 886s, JBA UCAs, and pulled my LCAs off to clean up my alignment bolts and cover them in antisieze. Pretty productive afternoon.

 

I can’t wait to see these installed. I’m torn between companies and styles. What was your turnaround time?

 

Right at 7 weeks from order until they arrived at the freight terminal.

It seems like all the fiberglass companies get bad reviews for delivery times, fitment, and quality in general. Advanced is under new ownership/management, and they seem to have turned things around. I'd suggest doing some searching and reading in the LT forum.

 

Good luck with the upcoming presentation. Remember to picture the audience in their underwear if you get nervous ... unless you are presenting to children.

 

Thanks. Not presenting to minors. That would probably actually be better/easier. I'm presenting a project from work to a bunch of industry people.

 

I’m a research nut and have called adv, road runner and Mcneil. I really like adv (especially now that it’s not the guy from glassworks) but I’m so impatient and in the middle of moving so lead times that are subject to change are a little tough right now. From the pics I’ve seen on their websites these three companies produce a very similar design but I have not seen any side by side comparisons. The same stock image seems to show up for all. So I’m eager to see yours!
