Don't feel bad about falling out of your truck. I barely could get in mine after the lift and kept tripping while getting out of it.

 

Now the wait until my actual wheels come in since there was a mix up at Icon. Its funny, every time I see them, it reminds me of my old Civic for some reason lol.

Finally got out to shoot some pistol! New reloads work alright but I was a bit rusty.

 

Things we do for our spouse... Going to a Christmas party for wife's work, a pretty nice deal with dinner and dolphin show (Dolphinarium place). Then more drinks and they are paying for a room at Talking Stick Resort for the night. I would much rather spend the night in my RTT out in the woods than in a room next to hundreds of drunken strangers. No talking her out of it, so I'm going to have to take one for the team this time.

Oh, and lest we forget, the best plans are spending the nigh in the RTT in the woods with a bunch of drunken TW folks!

That 85 is sex. I had the 85 1.2L II for a few years and aside from the funky focus by wire, it was one of my favs of all time. The 1.4L is on my wish list.

 

I had a ton of back and forth between the old work horse of the 1.2 or trying the new 1.4 with very very limited reviews besides the sample shots since it just came out, but yah super glad I got it. Focus is way faster and spot on, along with all the other updates to it.

Both with the 85 1.2L II. My biggest gripe with that lens was the focus by wire and with the depth of field so thin wide open, the conventional focus screen would sometimes miss. Miss the good old days of a split prism. I plan to add the 1.4 to my bag once I finish messing with the truck.
