It's so easy to pull the dash trim and push it out. You may scratch up the dash trying to pry it out.

it takes 30 seconds to pull the trim. first around the head unit then the piece that is on the side of the gauges then the final lower trim. all done wit no tools. do not be shy, yank on them they pop off.

Anyone else really annoyed Toyota used the same size button but cut the trim so the buttons only fit in the same spot? I tried to rearrange my buttons and was denied.

Nothing a small file can't fix. Just need to file the left side inside the opening.

Haven't really got around to making more of these..really busy. I have all the components...just need to set aside some time and get crankin. Sorry that doesn't help ETA lol.

Me-So have you ever thought of selling this as a kit so people can solder and assemble this themselves? I wouldn't mind assembling this from loose parts myself. Just a thought.

I've thought about it.. maybe I'll offer a kit. But most people just want a PNP solution and that's what I was trying to provide.
To assemble you need JST crimpers which isn't a common tool. And program the arduino with the code. I'll consider it though

Anyone find an ignition on 12 volt source to tap easily instead of the power outlet circuit? Need this so the module doesn't deactivate when truck is in accessory mode.

What about whatever powers the gauges? I think they only go on with the ignition, but not sure about the voltage.
