We in the South find that sort of thing endearing to the Waffle House experience. The unrefrigerated eggs, grumpy service, drunk cooks, and an unwipeable film of grease is just part of the expected ambiance...

 

I thought getting robbed or murdered was part of the waffle house experience

 

My one Waffle House experience was being solicited by a no-toothed prostitute while attempting to decided if my health was worth eating there.

 

Never! I can’t look at that picture.

 

Never got robbed at one but watched a guy in the parking lot get stabbed up for what I later found out was because he was trying to sell crushed peanuts as crack to someone who didn’t want to buy crushed peanuts and really preferred crack.

There is always a robbery, stabbing, shooting or something crazy there and it happens often too.

IIRC, the old guy who own them lives in Atlanta too and his maid alleged that he made her give him BJ's as part of her job. It was in the news here.

The night shift at Waffle House

 

It was Anniston AL. It would have left a lasting impression, who's memory would come back from time to time..... during a flare up.

 

I freely admit I don’t go through every post. However, I was inspired to see what a bear getting hit in the nuts would do.

Turns out, it’s the same damn thing I would. Sorry, buddy bear. Gotta protect the jooblies.
