Next Christmas is gonna be great. There is absolutely no way it can flood four years in a row. Bring on the Egg Nog. Extra adult version.

Bert has been brought in the house and branch fluffing is complete. Decorating will commence soon!

Had a minor miscalculation with ceiling height vs tree height. All good now with about 1/4" clearance  note the scratch mark in the paint

On a scale of 1 to 10 how inappropriate would it be to display a Santa hat wearing T-Rex eating a reindeer on the front lawn?

Train and tree in action. Took me awhile to get batteries for the toy train. Need to fix the squeaky noises but my girls love it.

We put up two trees each year: an artificial tree in our dining room that has 20+ years of Nostalgic Houses and Shoppes and Classic American Cars - Lynn and I buy the new one for each other every year. The second tree, a real one, goes in our great room.

    Artificial Tree 2017.jpg

This is the tree we got and decorated today - with the help of our son, daughter-in-law and three grandchildren. It's right about 12 feet tall.

Thank you . I grew up with my mother being a single mother and she always made sure regardless of some serious tough times the holiday spirit was around where ever we stayed. So I just want to pass that tradition with my girls while they’re young. Seeing them enjoy the holiday spirit is priceless for me .

    Yep that’s the one .
