yeah that place is baaaaadd. Had roommate from there. When it snowed in Powell once, big fat fluffy flakes. A quiet peaceful snow...he looked and me and said, "wow, i've never seen snow fall straight"

Looking great Jace! for cycling pictures. What width tires are you running again? I love this idea for a setup but even with my spacers I am afraid I'll rub like crazy with my huge tires.

not sure its an option for us on 35s. Not without a t100/tundra axle anyways. Rubbing would be bad when flexing.

That's what I figured, I know you have a t-100 axle/tundy axle already on your list for Frank since you have the LT front end, but if I can avoid going down the LT rabbit hole for a bit I'd like to. I need to see what I look like when I finally get off these stock wheels and get my total 2.75" BS when I get my wheel/spacer setup with the wheels I want.

even with that I don't think they would clear. Too tall a tire. Best bet is inboard like Brett did.

I'm on 285s. I could've went inside the frame straight up and down but I wanted to do something different. I really think with the shocks outboard it's gonna be super stable and predictable. Anxious to get rocking! Ordered up a proportion valve today. Gotta get the brakes figured out before bed goes on...

I'm still curious to see what happens when you cycle.

I'm on 295s and only 4.0" backspacing, and I had less than an inch between the tire and frame at full articulation.

They might fit with 1.25" wheels spacers. That's 2.75" backspacing.

And then you would look silly like Monte and have your tires sticking out way past your fenders and end up shooting mud everywhere. I think the guys in Hawaii and the South call that 'stance'. :notsure:

    :luvya:

I like my tires in my fenders.

The thing about this kit though is the top mounts are pretty damn far forward. For the hydro kit TC makes you'd be screwed. But because the shock is so far forward the top part of the tire where you're thinking it'll rub the shock isn't there.

So there is probably a bit more clearance further down.

    Although not much.

Clearances will be interesting to see either way. I was going to out this on my double cab..but idk if I want to run spacers on it either

OK guys question. My leaf pack has lots of clamps on them at full droop the main leaf contacts the outer most clamps. Correct me if I'm wrong, do those clamps not then limit the down travel? They gotta do it to help with leaf longevity I'm guessing?

If you remove them, the leafs splay out and puts all the load on the main leaf. It's not gonna stop the springs from flexing under load though.

I'm mainly taking main leaf. If I remove all leaves and flip them and leave the main leaf, im thinking droop measurements can't be accurate

Question 2. What is the difference in cycling the suspension with the leaf pack turned upside down and loading the bed with 2000 pounds of weight momentarily to get measurements?

    I'm lost.
Cycle with just the main leaf. Nothing upside down.

Whats the difference using the main leaf vs. Just flexing the truck to get the droop measurements and loading the truck with 2k pds for compressed measurements?
    Besides less work...

2k pounds won't flatten the pack to full bump. And you will have more droop with just the main leaf then a fully assembled pack. Add tires and stand on it for full droop.

When you are at a loaded flex it droop out one side more than just drooping an assembled pack. It's spring steel. Physics and shit.

I have access to a fork lift and a ducking shot load of weight. Could easily drop it into the bed quickly and hit full bump. I guarantee it will hit. The springs aren't that strong...

Not sure I understand your second paragraph. Also first paragraph, if It would droop more with just the main leaf then a complete pack, why would I want that inaccuracy?
