No. Actually I'm comparing me and my fathers tons of dewalt tools from the past and current to the ONE SET of Milwaukee cordless tools I have played with. The Milwaukee battery drills seems to be pretty beefy. They're definitely heavier and feel like a better made unit. In terms of RPMs, my dewalt driver kicks the shit out of the milwaukee. I'll assume the dewalt beats it on torque also since it would drive 8 inch lags quicker. We actually have a pretty full compliment of Milwaukee corded tools. We use both brands pretty extensively. As far as the brushes versus brushless, I figured brushes also because black shit flying out of the motor. Then someone told me that all the LI drills are brushless. After reading more into it, it appears that Dewalt had both options for the LI drills. I do not know which mine was. I can't find the drill in question to verify. It probably got thrown out with the last cleanup up the last flip I did.

Thanks for your constructive comment. It's people like you that really make threads shine. Do me and everyone else a favor. The next time, if you don't have anything constructive to say, then it's probably better left unsaid. Don't you have things to weld anyway?

When we were installing my skids and sliders (damn I forget who made them now... oh well) @loosnut had a 12v Snap On rat-a-tat. that damn thing surprised the hell out of me. It took bolts out that my dewalt 20v LI couldn't even move.

Yea, we do have a lot of stuff to weld. My contribution to this thread: check out the FlexVolt stuff. There's nothing else like it. Two 18v batteries isn't the same. The FlexVolt tools are pretty amazing. Interestly, some of them put out more power than corded tool for short burst because they aren't limited by the breaker on the main power. The FlexVolt circular saw is putting out about 2400W. A corded tool maxes out at 1800W (but most don't get that close to the limit and only hit about 1440W).
