Hey, I got kids so I needed this mod. got the unit from Ebay, 10" with built in dvd and fm mod. I did this for a double cab.

    1. removed the dome light and housing
    2. used the dvd mounting plate as template for hole in the roof liner
    3. cut template from roof liner with box cutter
    4. installed the dvd plate to the support pillar using sheet metal screws
    5. remove oh crap handle for room to run wire
    6. removed moulding for passenger seatbelt, pass foot moulding, and glove box, use fish tape makes it easier to run wire
    7. run wire to the cigarette lighter
    8. removed the cigarette pw outlet and tapped pw to the "green" wire and ground to the "black/white" wire
    9. mounted the dvd to the dvd plate
    10. reinstalled what I took apart
    11. kids are happy
