Have the three plugs pulled on the passenger side, vehicle rolled to the driver side but getting at those plugs is not so easy. Is it necessary to pull the plenum spacer and all plugs before trying to engage the starter? I'm working on the street, it's ice all around so jacking my truck up, removing skid plate and getting a breaker bar on there isn't really an option today.

Thanks for the help thus far everybody. I'm worried about my baby.

They will know, there is enough damage and coolant spillage in the engine compartment to suggest a roll.

You are helping me bud, no worries at all we'll get it figured out. Removal of the plugs on the driver's side (rollover side) are a bit tricky, I think I have to remove the plenum spacer to get at the coil/plug.

What situation were you in prior/during hydrolock? Motor stalled? Loud noises? Water in there or oil from roll?

Motor hydrolocked from water. Sucked enough through the intake to stall the motor. When trying to start it with the starter it sounded like a *click*. I didn’t see the carnage till I pulled the engine.

For the record I'm not claiming anything, this will be fixed with my own two hands or out of pocket if there is internal failure. We'll cross that bridge when we get there. Together

I am guessing that cylinders would not fill with oil until it stopped running (scraper rings would keep oil out ) . Since you were on the drivers side down , that is where most of the oil would go (gravity). If like you said - you shut the engine down within 3 to 5 seconds , as long as it did not shut down abnormally , and sounded as normal , you will be ok.

Ok, truck was on its side for nearly 2 hours so I'll remove the plenum spacer and driver's side plugs next. Thanks

    Reserected from the dead.
Check the dip stick. If the oil is now in cylinders, then your oil level will be low. I thick you will find it normal.

Unless you knew the level before the rollover you could have less oil now.

What makes you think that just because it didn't happen on a road that it isn't covered? I work in the insurance business and I've never seen an exclusion in an auto policy that voids coverage the second you leave the road. It's likely a covered loss if you carry collision coverage.

Just call in the claim before you mess with it too much more. If they can't differentiate between damage caused by the roll and damage caused by you trying to fix it then you'll definitely have a coverage issue.

+1 id definitely call in the claim. It should not matter that you were on private property, you were in an accident. I’ve seen similar events covered.
