Which everybody including bama argued against?

Hoping for the same outcome to round 1.

 

I haven’t heard anything, but I think he’ll be ok in a month.

This game is going to come down to our defensive line Vs ou’s Offensive line. I’m not worried about our rush defense. If we can get pressure on mayfield, we’ve got a great chance at winning. We let him have a cup of coffee in the pocket and he’ll pick us apart.

The lack of defense OU has shown this year makes me think Fromm can be efficient like he was last night, and the best running back stable in the nation might have a chance to run throUgh them like Taco Bell runs through you.

 

I was probably one of very few thinking OSU should have been left out last year . It is funny though , the Bama people argued against it last year , but this year they were all for it. Its all politics .

 

I'm shocked it happened the way it did. I've been busy w/ church and yardwork all day, so I haven't read any reasoning and I didn't watch the special or anything (and I haven't gone back through the thread).

I'll say that I'm glad we got another shot, and I hope we make something out of it. I don't think we'll beat Clemson if they're playing the same on 1/1 as they have been lately... but we have a few weeks to get healthy and prepared. We've played them well the last couple of years. I hope we can at least do as well this year.

I think Bama will beat Clemson .
OU will beat Georgia
OU will beat Bama and be national champs.

Although, I still think this year is Clemson's to lose. I think they are the best team out there right now. But, it's all about who shows up on game day.

 

Bama shouldnt be in.

 

In many ways, I don't disagree. But, I'm glad they are and I get to watch them play another game.

I would hate to have had to decide between OSU, USC, and Bama.

 

some strong offers coming from Arkansas, 50 mill for 7 years.

If he goes it would be fun to have a coach like Kiffin since he hates nick Saban.

 

Just read some stats about the UGA/OU game.

OU allows 150 rush YPG (doesn’t bode well against a backfield like UGA)

OU is 61st in the nation in sacks (Fromm SHOULD have a clean pocket)

UGA secondary is second In the nation in pass defense



I just hope we can slow Mayfield down (assuming he doesn’t make an ass of himself and end up arrested before the game)

 

While I don't think this will happen, I can almost hear heads exploding if its a UGA vs. Bama natty.....

 

I would figure... given what TAM threw at Fisher, I would not doubt Arkansas would drop some serious jack on the table for Gus.

Kind of surprised they set it up that way. I guess they didn’t have much choice. There was no way to jump us all the way to 1 or put Bama any higher than 4, so they were kind of locked into it...

 

I dunno. UGA's loss is a much better loss than Clemson's....

 

I mean, if you take out of the equation when the losses happened....


Clemson lost to unranked Syracuse Jawja lost to RANKED Auburn



I am however, unsure of strength of schedule comparisons....so maybe that is where Clemson pulls ahead.
