Locking the compartment behind the rear seats (double cab)

    Has anyone found any success here? It'd be nice to have both of them locked so it wouldn't be easy to fold the rear seats down and access the compartments.

    You're probably SOL.

    To be honest, not many people that steal things are smart enough to even know that there is storage behind the seats. Under them, maybe. Just tuck the pull strap thing in.

    Some sort of steel cable + lock run through an eye bolt, bolted to the seatback plastic, then somehow secured to the back/side wall to where you can still access it to unlock?

    All I can think of off the top of my head.

    Otherwise seat covers and tuck in the pull strap like @R490 said.

    Best thing I can think of right now is to attach a fairly universal lock twice over for both seats. However it might require welding... not sure I'd trust a rivet.

    I’m pretty sure you have to remove the rear seats in order to remove the enclosure, I know mine does. There’s no way of removing the box with the seats just folded down.

    Just leave lots of change in the cup holder, they will be so excited they'll forget to look any further...maybe
