Won’t work on a 2012+. You’ll have to either use a 03-09 4Runner Switch, Hilux Switch, or a Tundra Switch.

Yesterday I changed the spark plugs and the serpentine belt. I cleaned the MAF and throttle body as well as the engine bay. I greased the drive shaft and drained and filled the transmission.

In the process of draining and filling the tranny I stripped the plug/pan and went ahead and ordered a new pan, gasket, and plugs/washers. Always something.

Got home the other day and heard a hissing noise, did the 360 around the truck and found this fucker in my rear tire. Brought it to Big O to get patched and plugged for free.

I get home today and I don’t know what compelled me to look at that same tire, but then I found the bastard child screw in the same damn tire. How is my luck so bad?

No hissing so I’m thinking that it didn’t poke all the way through.. We’ll see here in a bit if the tire is still holding air.

Haha I brought it to Big O and they did it for free that’s the only reason. Man card remained in back pocket. About to get the screw driver out and try and take that little guy out and see if she’s losing air. Also adding the tire plug kit to Amazon wish list tonight lol..

A few mods here and there and counting....
Swapped out my homemade grill light mount for a BAMF unit. Beefier and the lights aren't bouncing. Perfect clearance on against the satoshi grill. IMG_2040.jpg IMG_2041.jpg IMG_2042.jpg

U-Joints. Fuckin U-Joints man. Had about 70k on the U-Joints in my Tom Woods 1-Piece DS and wanted fresh ones for a cross country trip coming up.

Went full redneck style. Vice, pliers, hammer, and a socket.
    7144FA19-011B-4342-AC0A-ABE7F7F8EC21.jpg

5 out of 8 trunions had severe needle bearing wear... like bad.
    0E320D23-2B19-415B-81CE-186FF8933971.jpg

Slapped new spicer greaseable U-Joints in there. Also put on my LCA and Diff Skid and am prepping the ARB cooler for install. Pictures of all that junk later.

The truck drives so much smoother now. No more ass vibes (through the seat) at freeway speed, no more metallic pings from the DS when I shift, no more gritty up shifts. The 6 speed shifts like glass now. I had no Idea the gritty shifts had anything to do with the U-Joints. Lovin it.
