The amount of time I actually am in the hotel room on the strip is minimal.... so whatever's cheapest on the strip is where I park me bags. hell, most of the time I end up sleeping in someone else's room anyways :anonymous:

They've put in a lot more hoops you've got to jump through anymore to prove you're industry.

If you can get a local retailer to give you one (or is is it 2?) of the following:
    • FFL# (Federal Firearms License) or Curio & Relic FFL – Type 1 or 2 (this only qualifies person registering whose name is on the FFL)
    • Two recent paycheck stubs to verify employment or company email.
    • Insurance card with employee name and company on it
    • Name of employee on company website
    • Company invoice with name on it
    • Verified corporate email
Then you can go in. If not, no "sneak my buddy in the back door" options as far as I've been able to tell.

I have some friends in the industry but this has been the roadblock. I'm working on convincing my good buddy who owns a very large gun store on the east coast, but stuff like paychecks and insurance docs are not something you hand out lightly.

    Good deal!

I will be shooting the NBRSA 1000 yard Match in Tucson next Saturday (Dec 9th) once again. It is every month, but takes dedication to be on the road by 4:30 AM on Saturday. We should swap stories over a cold beverage one day. I been in this game for 10 years now. Some amazing shooters here, witnessed a sub 2" group this Summer, have shot a few under 4" myself in Light Gun.

I also shoot Service Rifle Matches a couple times a year (The Washingtons Birthday biggie at Ben Avery and Legacy Match at Rio Salado) just to keep in touch with what the really good guys can do with a Service Rifle (iron sights, offhand, sitting, and prone). I love the competition even when I do mediocre.

Well, it came early and it is really nice! I looked long and hard at the Pelfreybilt and the price on that one was a lot better. Also very good looking. I am really hung up on not losing OEM functionality with this truck and since 2wd, having high clearance was low on the list of importance. I looked at the FabFour and RPMFab. The RPMFab was equally priced and a nice bumper, but no license plate light provisions or cube light cut outs, but, retained the factory receiver and local made. The FabFour was meh, pricey and a bit odd looking. If the Pelfreybilt was just a bumper and allowed for retention of the OE hitch receiver, it would have been a no brain'er. I wanted to retain the OEM receiver and this was the best equipped for the money that would keep that piece. The ARB is dog shit ugly, bulky, and makes the Taco look like a Colorado with the built in steps. The other one was the MBRP and wasn't keen on a two piece bumper. Anyways, here is the Victory/JCROffroad Strike rear bumper. Nicely built and checked off all of my boxes for bumper use. Next up is getting it coated. @2ndGenJonny, pictures, señor...
