That shit should be illegal. How can consumers protect themselves from bad corporations if they can hide behind other names?

 

Happens all the time. A lot of corporations have parent companies or sister companies. Nothing illegal about it, it is illegal to scam people on group buys. Not saying OP did this but his business partner did.
