I've always wanted to try those little "baby yardbirds" but never have. That may be an option for Christmas dinner.

That was kinda my thoughts. I'm not much of a turkey guy, (I did a ham for Thanksgiving) but these may be a viable option.

I like turkey and ham, but not a lot of ham. For some reason it hits my stomach and it feels like I ate a cinder block...but bacon is no problem for me to eat. I can tear up some chicken, like a velociraptor ;)

Ham is pretty filling. But what I don't like about it is it makes me thirsty AF afterwards. I've pretty much stopped eating bacon, (love it) just been trying to eat a little better lately. I've lost over 70lbs in the last seven months.

Good job on the weight loss. I couldn't give up bacon though. Ham I eat now and then. Only time I have the issue of salt with the ham is if I do a country ham and damn that's good now and then.

Cornish hens are good, I do them now and then, those look to have come out well. May need to pick some up for this week.

    great job!

Finally saved up enough to get myself a new smoker, which got me excited about smoking again. Got a Traeger Pro32 on Thanksgiving for a steal. D1809225-97E7-4F25-87E1-0085CA57F506.jpg

First smoke on it was some pork butt on Saturday. Came out juicy and delicious! D3CA164D-190F-4B1E-B6AA-A41DCEFF2757.jpg

Had prepped it with a mustard slather & some generic rub that I got in a bbq gift pack awhile back. Topped it all off with a Carolina inspired vinegar sauce.

Just found out that I'm off work this Wednesday and now I'm looking for something to smoke while I do work around the house. I have a lot Spicy Meat Massage ready to be rubbed into something....

I've been wanting to smoke my first brisket and my local Costco has some good prices atm.

Also, been craving some good ribs, but I do love smoked wings..

Wife is tired of Boston Butts and told me I have to expand smoking horizon.

Tell me what to smoke this Wednesday!
