Yup, very rare, thus had to go to Montana , spend a pretty penny, and drag it all back here

I also have a “regular” 67 of what you would call regular British metal. Aside from lord of darkness Lucas issues, it’s been issue free for almost 10 years

My family has had bad luck all around with British cars, we stay away now. Triumph Spitfire that was a complete turd, clutch cables, lighting issues, carb that had casting defects, leaked like a sieve. That was replaced with a 74 Datsun B210 which I'm reasonably certain is still on the road to this day. Later on a Triumph TR-6 (higher spec'd version with British racing package or some such nonsense). That one actually ran okay but apparently came with zero rust proofing from the factory and the transmission was basically un-synchd so you had to be good at floating, plus the clutch was binary, also had lighting issues (this is a theme). Multiple family members have made the mistake of buying Jaguar, don't have to explain why that's a terrible idea. I'm gonna learn from my elders and stay away myself, but I love looking at them, British roadsters are cool, some of the first cars to have impeccable weight balance and some even had a couple of mini ponies under the hood.

One of these days I'll buy a Miata just to satisfy my urge to have a roadster.

    I have had 11 miata’s of all 4 generations
    I have a Datsun 510 coupe

Triumphs are beautiful but not for me. My pre 1970 British stuff are Rolls and Mini

My “new” British stuff is Lotus which have been problem free but it’s all Toyota motors

    I will own a Jag E Type v12 one day ....

I had a 510 for a couple of weeks, ended up trading it on a 620 pickup which needed more attention than I could give it. I want another 620 but damn I have too many vehicles to drive and store ATM so maybe one day. I agree on the Lotus stuff, I like those, especially since they use some choice Toyota motors now. Mini stuff is cool too, always surprised how roomy they are inside too.

If I had the place to store them I'd be up there too, I move to often right now for that to happen, hard enough to move the two Yotas and 3 bikes. Still might have to make a Miata happen while I'm in PHX because the weather is too good not to.

Yeah I was just out there

My friend has a 10 car garage + RV parking

God I love the real estate there

I usually come out to their house then we go to Rocky Point for the week

Compared to here, PHX reminds me of going to third world country where my $1= 80 local currency

Cost of living is literally free

Wish I could move my job there

Could have a two acre property
    Beautiful house
    10-20 car garage
Paradise valley weather isn’t that horrible either

    Sigh

Compared to WA, yeah I can really stretch a dollar here, but I'm not convinced even that is worth it. The scenery is basically dirt, sand, cactus, and hills that people around here call mountains. Most of the reason I live anywhere is for the scenery and 4 wheeling activity. Trying to keep my stay here under five years, then pick up and take my earnings to Eastern WA and buy some land.
