Question for you fellas. So after getting new tires I did the chalk test and set the PSI in all for tires. The TPMS light is flashing and is not a solid illumination. Is this a faulty TPMS? I tried resetting it multiple times last night and it wouldn't turn off.

 

IIRC that means the battery in one or more TPMS sensor is dead (or there is a lost signal). The fix I've found is to turn the key to "ON" without starting the engine and holding the reset button until the flashing stops.

 

Check your spare tire too!!!

 

Did this numerous times no luck Im thinking one of the techs broke one

Delete that junk. I’m missing two sensors. I just ignore the light on the dash. Eventually I’ll trick the computer into thinking it’s working. Just been too lazy to pull the dash apart and splice the wires. Lol

 

same lol, im missing a tpms sensor entirely in one wheel haha. got a normal valve stem in there to replace it haha

A little over two weeks have passed since my ‘05 was killed by a Scion FRS doing 100+ on the highway.

Tonight I picked up this 2011 TRD Sport Prerunner. Already has a Toytec 3” lift and 285 Nitto Terra Grapplers. I love it.

 

Are they going to include the rest of the lift so the rear is level?

It’s on an incline in the photo, the rake is slightly exaggerated. I’ll probably put a 2” AAL when my Q3 bonus comes in. Also an exhaust. Odd starting my truck and not hearing the Magnaflow.

I’d looked at probably 20-25 Tacoma’s in the last two weeks, almost all of them where beaten. This trucks in mint shape the interior looks like nobody’s ever sat in it. I am quite happy. Plus all the features they’ve added since ‘05 like the AUX input and back up cam are really nice.

The 11 has the nicest OEM grille besides the TRD PRO grille . A color-matched honeycomb is worth some cash man enjoy the new ride hope to see you at the annual citrus meet.
