    Unfortunately you are correct. If they really want in, they will find a way. They suck,

    @mattgecko makes a fantastic looking and very functional product. I can't believe that he is making much on these (labor of love?). To make one like his, you would be time and money ahead and just have him make it for you. Now, my design. My friend and I have designed a bunch of things on napkins at lunch. Yesterday was no different, except that we were talking about my Tacoma and not my old 89 or his FJ40. When I bought it, I had told him that we weren't going to do anything to my truck. Period. I told him about Matt's product and he said, "let's make one!" So I told him I wanted to put a handle on it but wanted the handle to be a .223 round. Since he reloads, he made up 2 dummy rounds and off we went! My cost? Besides the piece of aluminum, I bought lunch, and drove us to the range today (120 miles round trip), we shot 250 rounds of 9mm, and about 200 rounds of .223. All in about $200. So yes, Matt's would have been less expensive!

    Just the standard Tacomaworld mods
    I'm 10k into my X3's and they're awesome. They're not very noisy especially compared to a MT and great off road! Mine are load range E so they're an extremely tough tire to help avoid punctures.

    Installed the RCI Metalworks fuel tank skid plate, Icon Hydro bump kit, Icon 2.0 0-2.5" shocks, Old Man Emu el096r Heavy Duty leaf pack. I did about 900 miles on them this weekend and am very impressed. I've got an extra 10 gallons of fuel, hilift, floor jack, 60lb tool box filled up, full size spare, full armor with high clearance bumpers, Tepui tent and All Pro rack and rack bars, all steel. The truck absorbs everything and supports the weight! The front is about to be replaced with coilovers and UCA's, currently on OME 2886's and Bilstein 5100's. The front has a smittybilt 12k winch, Pelfreybilt front and mid skid, Icon LCA skids, custom @jeffz0rz JTA hybrid bumper and @Shmellmopwho sliders. Lighting by Focal Engineering and LightForce, FullRiver battery's and a full Alpine system with a sub box! The wheels are VTX Rogue 17" on Cooper All Terrains 295/70/17. We air down to 20-25 at most places, on board air by
