NICE! Hahahah that’s how I had a guy help put my rock sliders on yesterday. Case of beer and good conversation and he welded them up. Unfortunately idk anyone with a paint gun or that can do a quality paint job so soooo dipping was the only option for me.

I left weds and came home Thursday. Didn’t really have time for anything but work stuff. If you take the turn pike by my house to Pittsburgh and back it’s over $50.

That’s when I realized the stuff I’ve been doing wrong and started making changes.
Nah. I started off on the wrong foot. Didn’t research enough of what I had been doing to the truck. Spent a lot of money I could’ve saved on by doing it the proper way the first time.

It’s all good now. I’m back on the right track

... I dropped. I was failing by the first chapter test. Between the work hours, lack of availability from the Professor for tutoring, lack of an online tutoring program for Chemistry, and the language barrier...I wasn't about to lose my GPA or the money spent. So I got put in an online biology class and salvaged my GPA. Pulled through with a C because I had missed the first half of the semester. So I took what I could over the F. Graduated in May with a 3.78 GPA, and walked with honors.

Currently in two more classes that are done next week, both of which I have a 97.9% and a 100% in. So I will graduate I believe in December with an Academic Cert to tack on to my two Associates. Also managed to get accepted into a second honors society over the summer. In May of next year, I'll be done my second Academic Cert (there are two in the fire science study). Then at some point over the summer, I start my Bachelors. Got my official letter of acceptance in November, to Point Park University (Pittsburgh) for a Bachelors in Emergency Management: Fire Service.
    :D

** yes I am parked in handicap, my mom was in the truck with me, and shes got a hip replacement and a handicap tag..

    True grit.

If some peeps had half the determination that you have... to get through a good college education, they would be in a good place.

I like that you think through your college coursework path, to assure a successful route to you next step in your education, your Bachelor's Degree.

Keep doing what you are doing.

Lastly, that's one helluva graduation grin!

    Congrats!

A few years ago I was attempting to change careers and was taking pre-requisites for nursing. Chemistry was one of those classes. I used RateMyProf to look up professor reviews and choose my classes. Well, I was taking a chemistry class and within 2 weeks I was like WTF?! This professor was crazy, not all with it, and didn't seem to care at all about he students. Completely opposite of what I read on RateMyProf. Well, I went back to RateMyProf and looked again. She came up twice. The one profile rated her 5 stars. The other profile was all negative reviews (which was reflecting my experience). Agghhhh.... anyways, I stuck it out. The class was complete hell. I mean, chemistry is not a fun subject for me to begin with, let alone with a horrible professor. Passed with a C. What was sad is that about 5 people came in the day of the final and withdrew with from her class. I guess an "I" is better than an "F"?
