I guess it's confusing to me, not sure what's holding things in place. Anyway, seems searching brings this up in other threads so I'd call SPC and see what they say. Maybe there's an incorrect bushing at play here.

I just received my set of SPC from @Babyjake16 from Battleborn Offroad - they arrived from SPC with this style of bushing- the most updated version I’ve heard.

I’ll have to take it when I get off of work at 4am - but they are sitting next to my KYB strut mounts and Volks in Tacoma holding area

I'll wait for in person pics of the bushings. The ones from Amazon and bilsteinlifts.com don't quite look like the ones on the thread here. They also say Specride bushing in the description.

Sweet Ive asked SPC about these specifically. I never doubted you, just the company and seller you bought from.

Do they have install instructions? SPC still links the old spec ride 2 washer install instructions.

    And those still look welded.
I thought someone said something about cast.
    Maybe in a linked thread?

When I replace my bushings with the current spec-ride (not xaxis) I will take a measurement of the distance of the arms.

One side of the arm is cast the other side is a tube but they’re both welded where the bushings or pressed in

My front end is a noisy squeaky mess right now. I had noticed the gap before and kept trying to tighten that nut.
I had a bit of time yesterday to mess with it so I pulled things apart and with the UCA disconnected from the spindle, the fore and aft movement is obvious.
Also noticed that the LCA had free play up and down because the bearing in the bottom of the shock is toast so there's that to deal with too :annoyed:
