And me, though I only want them from keeping dog hair off the seats and at the moment I use an old bed sheet that is held in place by 2 spring clamps around the head rest slider bars. Not sure I can motivate myself to spend too much money when this solution works fine.

What's the black cup like item in the knock out area of the bench seat? Something you added?

I see you have an auto, I have manual and my bench doesn't have anything as such.

Also, I am planning on going with buckets here soon. But curious why covering your seats so soon. Were they stained or did you just not like the factory style?

Well you did a good job on that covering Phantom. Looks good.

Yeah I know changing to buckets won't be a give-me. The buckets I am planning on installing are out of a 06 TRD. Not positive, but from what I can tell has similar sensors to that of the bench seats. (pressure only and no on/off switch for the pax air bag). Not sure if the connectors to the wiring harness are the same or not. Might have to do a mod on the wiring, or just set the airbag system always on as I don't plan on having any children in the pax seat.

As for the bolt patterns, Tacoma's forward section of the cab are the same from what I've researched. Only all the holes for the bolts for the buckets won't be pre drilled and no nuts welded underneath so I will have to adjust accordingly. Will see.

Hope to have them in about a month ($$$). Will post a write-up if all goes well and I am able to get them.

Unfortunately not. Had to delay financially when I had to buy my wife her 08 Civic to replace her 90 sentra. Missed the deal

nah, just take the seats out of that Civic and put it in the taco. Try to mount the bench in the Civic, and when she tells you your crazy, just tell her "Im doing the best i can" with a serious face, or say "these civic seats are dangerous, heres my 5star bench seat".
