Yeah that's all I've been doing since I ordered my rifle.
Just trying to get it ready quickly so I can use it for these last few weekends of deer season since that's the main reason I bought it.
Might upgrade everything down the road but if this scope and red dot hold up I might just roll with it until I get another rifle and turn this .300blk into a 10.5" pistol build for home defense....or maybe a silencer....I don't know. hahaha

I think it's a Simmons. Not sure of the model. He said it's been a really nice scope but he has always had Leupolds on his rifles and had been saving for another to replace it.

    Anytime!
And yeah I don't think I'll be shooting that one either. Wayyyy too heavy to be a super. Might just be a typo. :notsure:

Was asking you lol, being you had the magical link. I knew there was a company that recently shut down that was doing bulk 300AAC in bags but seems they got overwhelmed and are still refunding people back from that escapade. The prices from your link are good but nowhere where they should be. Lowest I've found is 12.95/20 Remington FMJ's at Walmart.

The link was just to all the ammo they have in 300 blackout.

Because of where I live, I need to get my hands on a bunch of ammo for the rifle...

Might have to swing by Wal-Mart tomorrow.

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. My girlfriend likes going shooting and likes my truck. She doesn't like me impulse buying stuff but if i save the $ and think about it for a bit shes all for it!

Do any of you folks put white grease on the hammer/trigger parts? The video I followed for the build the guy put a little on, but I didn't have any and didn't know if it was important or not.

Had a range day Friday, it was awesome to actually shoot somewhere other than the ranch.

I dont, I think it would just attract soot and debris...a light coat of rem oil or something similar and wipe down.

O boy yet another new "wonder" caliber :) Seems like every company is tossing out a slight variation of common calibers these days.

Just look at all the freedom haha!

I just came back from Chicago, went to an awesome gun store. You can't even handle anything there or even get ammo unless you're an Illinois resident and have some firearms card. Was a huge WTF moment. I wanted to check out a Sig SP2022, nope. Only through the glass. You could tell the salesman hated having to follow those stupid rules. I guess ARs and AKs are totally banned in Chicago city limits too. I brought my concealed carry with me, but had to leave it in my truck. Nothing like being in the most violent city in the USA and you can't even protect yourself. I'm sure the criminals love it.

So when we left and as soon as we hit the Indiana border to get back home, I told my woman, wait for it wait, and yelled freedom as soon as we crossed the border LOL! I'm a dork I know.
