That’s the plan. I’d be okay with keeping it until the wheels fall off.

Yeah. Probably. Waiting for the final written job offer(maybe the next two days hopefully) before I head down there and tell them to find me THE car. I have a good feeling I’ll be in it before the end of the month.

Yes. Ordered the battery bracket from @Coupe. Hoping this one wont come loose!

Dealer cleaned much of the mess, I have a bit left to do. All good.

Now to fix the fender flare, lol.

I haven't had it come loose, but then I haven't had the factory one come loose enough that it moves as far as yours did.

Yeah- was kinda suprised. The oem braket was snug on the Northstar OEM 27f- but it did fit a little differently feom the OEM battery. Fortunately this battery has a raised grid pattern in the sides- to protect the battery itself.

At the end if the day- it was only a minor deal for the truck. Dealer replace the line and the oil filter and did a quick clean on the engine bay.

Were you able to have the bracket go over the handle on the battery or did you have to lift the handle and put the bracket through it? LOL maybe that last ride up the backside of Daniel with me loosened it up.

Over the handle. I am certain wheeling loosened it up- but that trip was a month ago!

Nothing happened untill my work trip to Myrtle Beach, this past Thursday.

The front J hook on the bracket came out if its hole. The rest was still connected.

Hoping the new bracket has a longer "J" hook. OEM one is rather small.

After seeing it- everyone should consider replacing this OEM piece! Especially since the oil filter and trans cooling line are right there! Good thing the battery did not break too!

Coupe has a nice product, I'd be surprised if it let loose. It's a much better hold than stock, especially on the Northstar Batteries.

Looks like the sliders took another hit for me, this time in the wally world parking lot. I always make sure to park way the hell away from other people to prevent this kind of crap. No harm to the truck at all! Thank you, SOS Offroad Concepts!
