Yup! My next big upgrade will be audio so I'm going to be getting nicer clamps and clean everything up then...eventually...one day lol

 

Finally finished mine up with a 6 circuit blue sea block & circuit breaker, and a paranoid fabrications plate.

I probably will, but that’s just the easiest way to mount with the supplied brackets.
Haven’t needed to open it yet actually.
It’s a “kit” off Amazon for like $115. Included all wiring, relays, fuses, and 3’ of colored wire.

Can definitely be made for cheaper, but I wouldn’t have put something together this nice with my limited electrical skills.

 

Will do! I hardly see the light of day during the week thanks to work but I have just got my switches in for my ditch lights and reverse lights so I'll be pulling an electrical project day pretty soon. I'll grab the measurements then

 

Several members have suggested grounding accessories at a nearby point on the frame which is ok I think but I don't recall seeing any mention of upgrading the chassis ground wire to the battery to accept the possible extra 100A load. Awg4 or 2 to the aux fuse panel is only half of the circuit. I don't know what guage it is but the stock chassis ground is significantly smaller than awg4. Beefing up that wire is probably a good idea if you ground all your accessories to the chassis instead of bringing them back to a common buss bar that is then grounded to the battery.

 

yea, I would always upgrade the battery to frame, and battery to body to 4ga (or stupid overkill like i did and do 00ga) lol

 

What size wire is every one running to their aux battery?

 

i am running 00ga to my second battery with a blue sea marine circuit breaker at each end and a ACR near the first battery.
