Came out of this truck. It was the parts truck I was going to buy, but HOA wouldn't let me keep a non operable vehicle in the driveway. Ended up taking only the doors. It's weird, it had a 2004 hood, a 1998 chassis, and T100 door panels. The bed was also full of Volkswagen Beetle parts and the cab was filled with several fake Christmas trees. Swear there was a hole Beetle of parts in there.

To answer your question, it was a 1998. The doors remained the same through the years so you wouldn't have a problem. Toyota even used the same window regulator from a lot of early 90's vehicles. A 1992 4Runner regulator worked in my 1998 with 2004 door panels and components.

Yeah, HOA's are a pain but what can you do. They're just trying to keep the neighborhood clean. I hate some of their regulations but others are ok with me.

I would have liked to have seen the look on the cops face when you were like 'only thing stolen was my radar detector'

My lovely donor truck at the local pick n pull. Anyone know how to lower the window with no power?

I just undid every bolt in the door panel and then magically I was able to freely move the window.

    Here’s to hoping it fits.

He honestly didn’t seem too surprised. Guess they are frequently stolen. He was glad I had the serial number somewhere, he said people usually don’t remember it. (I kept the original case and paperwork)

I only bothered to call the cops because Escort will take your police report as a “trade in” for a new detector.

Oh shit dude, that blows! What part of Nashville are you in? Can't say I've seen you around. More importantly, what junkyard is that taco at?

    It’s at the pull-a-part on centennial. It’s a 1996 5 lug. I’m off West End.

Done. Now I have zero excuse to put off mass loading my door with Fat Mat. Already did the rest of my truck... just never did the doors. And I need to grease my regulator.

Now to find a good tint shop in Nashville...

Not really. The whole truck is crap. Looks like it was sitting for ten years before it was finally picked up. Not much left of the engine. Since it’s a 5 lug, not any good suspension or drivetrain parts either. There were tons of cigarette butts in the driver side floor board.

Window rattles like a sumbitch when lowered a little. Any ideas?
