Why? I always keep mine on when I'm not offroading. It makes a noticeable difference in fuel efficiency.

    Like, so many.
It looks terrible and just like a tacked on afterthought. I might could see doing it for a road trip.

I love that front valence. Helps with fuel efficiency and it keeps the wind vibrations down underneath the truck. Whenever its off and I'm going highway speeds, I always can feel vibrations in the floor board from the wind passing underneath. The valence prevents that. I also do 80% highway driving

A lot of good input. Tough decision. I def like access door for accessing the filter housing... saves on dropping the whole skid plate just for a quick oil change.

I was SUPER pissed the first time I had to change the oil in my Wife's 5th gen 4r, I thought it was the same as my second gen.... Boy was I mistaken. Now that factory skid has a hole plasma'd out!

I think I lost a whole MPG after I put mine on, they are heavy when you armor everything. Stock I was around 20 mpg, after all of my mods I'm down to 15 or less!

So much sexy on that Streamline but it still requires cutting which makes me sad.

    Saved by the slider!

I had a BPF skid on my first 3rd gen. While it looks nice there’s no way I would bang it around like I do the Mobtown skids. My personal belief is that it’s more for looks than function.
