Ive had one or two of the CCI 209 primers not fire at the range so a guy there said thats why he uses the triple se7en. That and make sure the nipple isnt clogged.

If you don’t know, the reason why the black powder 209 primer came about was because they were finding out the standard shotgun primer was so strong and powerful it was knocking the stack apart and giveing then all kinds of inaccuracies shot to shot and in some cases dislodging the 3rd pellet and bullet so far down the barrel that it would throw it out the end of the barrel unignited. Take a regular 209 primer and put it in your gun and shoot it with nothing else in the gun and you will see the fooot & long flame that comes out the end of the barrel just from the primer alone.

Same here with the wife. Sold her on the truck when we were dating. She initially wasn't a huge fan of shooting but after teaching her how to shoot and then buying her her own pistol, she was all smiles when she was the top shooter in her CHL class.

If it seems like I have firsthand knowledge of this, I have to confess I live about a mile away from the log cabin in Ohio. If you’re unfamiliar, the log cabin is the premier black powder shop/facility in the United States so I am one of the lucky flies that get to hang out and catch all the first hand knowledge to what little that does change in the black powder community

I can't decide if I want a black powder mini cannon (11" barrel, .50 Cal) or a break action muzzle loader, only muzzle loader I've shot is my dad old Percussion .50

    Shoot it :p
I don't really have a need but I would probably shoot either one....
If I used it for other than plinking I would use it for deer hunting.

Well then, I think you have kind of answered your own question!!
Because I don’t think anyone hunts with a Canon, at least not in the last 100 years! LOL
