I take it that lower right pic is the landing gear bay? And holy fuck on the amount of stuff in there to try and work on no wonder some of the issues delay these flights hours for what may be a minor issue!

Yeah, that’s the main gear wheel well. System A, B, and standby hydraulic tanks. Engine fire bottles would be over my right shoulder. And a shit ton of wiring and piping. Surprisingly few problems in that area of the airplane given how it’s all exposed, and how grimy it gets in there.

Not a bad way to spend a Sunday morning. Up before the dawn. Sipping on coffee at 35000 feet with the rising sun in my face while flying the newest bird in our fleet.

I pollenated this rice field over the summer. It looks completely different now but when you fly a field every day for ten days straight you don't forget what it looks like.

Just a couple more to show the displays in better lighting. Hopefully anyways. Taken and viewed on my phone. Not sure how they look on a bigger screen.

Those are the new Boeing standard displays. We had them when I was working on the 787 and now the KC-46 has the same ones as well.

...^^^... A lot of money in electronics behind those panels. Always wondered what a complete avionics package would cost on a commercial aircraft.

Edit: I know someone who put a Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion (I think that was it) in a newer King Air 350 and it was big bucks.

The screens are great. Some information is in a slightly different spot than the NG, but to be expected when you go from 6 screens to four. Still getting use to the position of the auto brake switch and light, and the gear handle and lights. And that the gear is just up and down now. Quite proud of myself for not having dropped it after takeoff while trying to put the handle in the now non existent off position during the after takeoff flow. I miss the APU EGT gauge too. Use to be able to tell the inlet door was fully closed by watching for the needle to wiggle. Knew you were okay to make her dark when you saw that.
