    Hey All,
Just joined TacomaWorld! I am looking to get some BFGoodrich T/A KO2 tires on my stock TRD Off-Road wheels. I am not familiar with tires sizes and such. Does anybody know if these will fit and if so what size should I get? Also, if anybody else has done this and has pictures I would love to see them. Thank you!

265/75/16 KO2’s. I got them prior to lifting about 1.5 inches, but I ran them before lifting off-road with no rubbing probs. These tires alone will lift the truck about 1/2 inch over stock Goodyear’s. This is an after lift pic. 5388FE66-474C-4337-8229-2D54844D828B.jpg

I have 265/75/16 ko2 tires on my stock off-road wheels. No rub and look ok. They are quiet also.

What lift? 1.5 is about what I'm looking for.

I'm running the stock size on my TRD OR, and quite happy, I think they are 265/70R16. 1.5" bigger radius (3" bigger diameter, eg 33's instead of the stock ~30) wheels will require several inches of suspension lift, I'd hazard 3" would be a good idea. this will make your truck more top heavy, it will make going very slow offroad harder (since the larger wheels create an effective taller gear ratio).

Single Dakar AAL + 5100’s front and rear, front set to 1.25 setting. I went to AAL for towing a 3500lb trailer.

I really like those wheels. I have the 4runner pro ones, but those might be the best looking factory wheels on a Tacoma.
    Nice looking truck, congrats.

    235/85/16 KO2s on stock suspension:

    They're skinny and tall.

I have a lot of droop from full skids, bumper, and winch. I need to put my suspension on, I have a Fox stage 2 in the garage with Dakar leafs.

Lol you guys are killing me. The trucks in this thread are making me and my truck self-conscious. Turns out I bought the wrong 4runner wheels, and I need a lift, bumper, and sliders now...

    I hate all of you.
    Not really, I love you.
My wallet does hate you. Not kidding.

How’s the traction with those cookie cutters? I went with wide due to sand floatation and better traction on rock, but saw a report that those do better on mud and snow than wide tires do.

265/75 KO2's on stock OR rims. No rub, fill the wheel well great and quiet on the road. E rated in the 16" size FYI, little heavier than stock..

I was hoping to get new wheels to go with the C rated KO2 available for 17" rims, but the wallet would not allow.

Went with 265/75 on my stock off road rims (~$165/tire at 4 wheel parts, I think deal is still available). I haven't noticed much difference in gas mileage/on road performance, and love the look.

Great tires, but if possible, get the C- Rated tires. They ride so much better, and work in the snow very well. I've had 3 sets of E-Rated tires on tacos, and they ride "Rough".

This was something I was worried about with the E-rated tires, is the snow performance. I know a generally softer tire works better in snow, so I am curious to put these to the test. Will hopefully report out soon; the mountains are calling me!
