another upgrade for the ultimate Tacoma did you go with the 4.88s as well, also any lockers, are you doing the install

Hell ya. It's coming along!
They are 4.88's. Keeping the factory E locker. And this is one thing I don't trust myself doing.. so I'll have a shop)that just does gears) do the install.

 

I have not tried..........however the James Baroud weighs 145 lbs. and the manufacturer does not think the struts will support that kind of weight. I asked.

 

Let me know which shop you find/use. Will be going to 4.88s when I jump to 35s.

 

Been a while since i posted here... Haven't really done too much to my tacoma in the last few months. But i am ordering a new coin holder from @mesojdm that's going to be badass.

Still loving my taco! Still off roading a few times a week. Still taking it to fishing holes and the hunting camp. No issues to date.

No lift on the taco running 265/75/16s. Wildpeaks.

Running the same size in falken wildpeaks. Same rims as well. But for some crazy reason i can't keep mine as clean as yours...

Fun new update for the night: got a call from the fab shop [who picked my truck up from the station for some winterizing] that I no longer have a rear license plate...which is a strange new development.

Thankfully some of our local PD was at the station anyway and directed me to the DOT site to apply for a new plate and cancel my current numbers. Now accepting suggestions for silly vanity plates!

Over the past 4 months here is what Ive done to my truck. With extra hours at work, some savings and Sierra Expeditions in Mesa, AZ Ive created the truck of my dreams.

1. CBI aluminum front bumper
2. CBI high clearance steel back bumper
3. CBI rom rock sliders
4. 4.88 Nitro gears
5. ARB air lockers back and front (fully locked)
6. BD S8 20inch light bars x2
7. Stage 4 Icon suspension with 2.5 inch lift
8. K&N cold air intake
9. Magaflow exaust
10. Replaced every speaker with Alpines and added 2 JLB 8s and an Alpine amp
11. Uniden CB radio

Running them on my wife’s 4Runner. She’s on a 3” lift. If you’re asking if you’ll rub on stock suspension. The answer is yes. However, as dale once said “rubbin’s racen”
