They (whoever they are) predict Louisville to whip Miss State. I guess we’ll have to see about that Dec 30.

Reports are the Louisville QB is entering the draft, and may only play a couple series to prevent injury in a meaningless game.

I’m not sure what we’ll look or play like on offense w/o Fitzgerald. We’re always better as the underdog though.

So, 60 +/- AP writers can't decide and I think another 60+/- coaches can't decide - they have 13 people (3-4 have to recuse themselves) with only potentially 9 or 10 deciding the final 4???

IF I was King of the world (and I am glad I am not!) how about this as a solution: I think there are 119 Division 1/Bowl subdivision teams. Each team/coach gets 4 votes and can NOT vote for themselves. Tally up all vote totals, best 4 are in - not a weighted 1 thru 4 points either, just pick 4 teams. The final ranking is based on the total votes received per team.

Example using this years finalists: * denotes final 4

Clemson 86 votes *
Oklahoma 73 votes *
Georgia 68 votes *
Alabama 60 votes *
Ohio State 58 votes
Wisconsin 44 votes

I don’t think he’ll go, and I don’t think there’s any way he’d leave right now knowing he’s got a possibility of 2 more games.

OU’s leading rusher had a protection order filed against him and has a court date Dec 18. Wonder how that’ll affect things.


Tickets to the rose bowl are suuuuper cheap for a big game. $125-350. Plan tickets to LA are pricey though...

05taco4x4: Just looked coaches poll only has 61 first place votes, meaning (to me at least) only 61 coaches get to vote. Also has the weighted voting: 25 points for first, 24 for second, etc, down to 1 point for 25 place.

Mine simplifies it: 4 votes, 1 point each. Highest vote totals are.

Who am I kidding.....to easy, so would never happen!!
