    Well, I bought the GMC yesterday. Can''t believe after 20 years and over a half million miles I will no longer be driving a Toyota. And it's a domestic vehicle to boot. It took 20 years living in NH to fully assimilate but now I guess I'm a redneck fuck like the rest of them.

    Howdy Hoo-mans.
    Get a visit from the bigwigs today. Waste of time. The company pays to fly 8 of the corporate executives up here, put them up in a hotel, buy them lunch, dinner, breakfast the next day. They call each of us in to the conference room for 10 minutes of 'this is how the company is doing, this is how you're doing, we'd like to offer you more of a raise but because of budgetary concerns with the company this is what we can do' and you can either accept it or negotiate from there. Pisses me off because what the company spent to shuttle them up here to do the old song and dance probably cost the company more than an extra dollar an hour for me for the entire year.

    That's what you get for using Jethro as a handle.

    That's literally how I got laid off a couple months ago. I mean I didn't get interviewed, but a third party came in and just made cuts based on some formula without visiting management on if it were the right choice
