I really am. I genuinely enjoy wrenching on trucks!! It's my hobby man!

 

Nice! Maybe I shouldn't have called you out over the forum. But, you can tell me no haha. I will get with David and try to work on some dates. I know you all work different schedules than me, and there are some wheeling trips coming up, but I would like to get these on before the New Year. I am pretty open from the 22nd of this month to the 3rd of January, so maybe we can try something for then.

Hell yes!

I am hoping to have my garage ready by then, but we had a main line sewage backup which has forced us to move a lot of stuff into the garage for repairs. I don't know when it will be done but we may be looking for an alternative location as well.

 

if you want, we can do it at my house... I have a 2 car garage that we can use and plenty of parking for other trucks

 

TW community is the shit!

It is a pretty simple install - new struts and an AAL. So maybe some others have some things they want to do as well? Might as well knock it out. I am good at helping but my knowledge of these trucks is pretty elementary.

 

Just drive backwards...

 

ill have sliders and IFS skids at the end of jan to mid feb, not sure when having a hard time getting in contact with mobtown.

I've been wanting to go out to Rausch for a while. Gonna check with the wife and see if I'm free or not.
Between raking leaves, Christmas shopping, hanging decorations ,holiday parties & visiting relatives my free time is damn near gone this month.

Id be down for a mod day! I don’t have anything to install right now but I will also have sliders and skids to install around January that would probably be a lot easier with some help.

I’ve never installed a lift but id definitely be down to help where/if needed.

I have an SWR meter...I couldn’t get mine to tune correctly but I think it’s the antenna so should work on other setups. You’re going to bald mountain right?

 

yup ill be there. I don't have a clue how to tune them, but I know it picks up the local tow truck drivers

 

I think about it for my wrx, but I can't get a good feel for how they look from product pictures. I'd need to see them in person.

 

I watched a YouTube video and it was pretty easy...kind of a pain to adjust the antenna but not too bad.
