Possibly? Not entirely sure to be honest... may look into that and split my ETH into some LTC.

Yeah there are sites that will do exchanges. I use binance for that. Fairly simple.

Crypto kittens are killing ETH at the moment. I still think it'll hit $1500 by Q2 2018.

I've been gone all weekend so I'm gonna answer a few questions I saw over the last few pages:

    - You can trade currencies for different ones as @Rattletrap66 showed above. Many exchanges make you buy bitcoin with USD then convert the bitcoins to others.

    - I finally got verified on Kraken last night. Kraken lets you buy BTC, ETH, and XRP with USD wired from your bank account. Trying to set that up today.

    - Banks use wire transfer, not checking account routing # like most digital transfers. So the numbers you have to enter are different, they recommend calling your bank first.

And whoever it was that claims he has 80 of them just laying around, if you are serious, you should care a lot more about that than to just post your questions on TW. I would have been digging for info months ago. If you've misplaced the information for those 80 coins then you're SOL. I also have never heard of a bitcoin kiosk but I'm no guru.

Lol you would never know! No way he would tell you, he's completely anonymous. In the Netflix doc they talked about when this first was invented, and someone working with him on it was doing everything through email. The guy mentioned the CIA was interested in it once and Satoshi has never been heard from since. Think he has 1 million of them, so yea about $12b USD.

    These people are certifiably insane.

Among the bill’s sweeping provisions, the government aims to greatly extend its authority to seize your assets through “Civil Asset Forfeiture”.

That's a good question. I don't think I'm the one to answer it, because I keep all of my "crypto" on an exchange- Bittrex. I don't have tens of thousands on there, so honestly, I'm not to worried about keeping it on an exchange.

That being said, I believe @Shiki Shabazz would be able to answer your question more thoroughly than I would be able to do.

Coinbase allows you to buy/sell crypto currency, and no, they don't allow you to buy/sell Ripple directly through CoinBase. You'd have to go to one of the "exchanges" and trade BTC/LiteCoin/Etherium for Ripple.

Already answered but go with the Ledger Nano (in the Amazon link at the bottom of this thread, it's actually $25 cheaper than two weeks ago). It keeps your coin access offline on an encrypted, USB flash-drive-like storage wallet. You would transfer the coins to the Ledger, disconnect it from your computer, and physically store it in a safe. It keeps your coins off the internet so they can't get hacked or stolen.
