New Allpro Standards. They look flat to me. SMH.

 

The standards are a thinner leaf stack and are more compliant and flexy. Hence the load capacity is quite less than the expos. I wouldn't worry about it. They flex really good offroad and I don't believe there's any issues. Even with our shackle flip. I think visually, we assume the leaf packs should always be positively arched and when they look like this there's a sense that there's an issue. I don't believe there's an issue and I love the way the ride. If it bothers you you can always buy heavier leafs if it gives you a piece of mind.. But I wouldn't worry about it..

We are referring to the standards. If you're gonna be carrying a load that's substantial, then a heavier leaf pack would be appropriate..

 

I rarely carry over 300lbs so the standards are perfect for mild loads and daily driving. Not stiff and rigid while driving unloaded

A few updates to my build...ended up selling the BakFlip G2 tonneau cover and replaced with a SnugTop Super Sport. It was used and got it for a good price. Even saved money getting the rear window latch repaired along with wiring up the third brake light and getting it color matched painted. Looks new now! In fact, I need to wash the truck to make it blend better. Ha!

I also added two 2-gallon RotoPax water containers with the LOX pack mount and an extension to balance out the rear...the Pelfrey swingout came with the mounting plate...and looked odd without something in that spot. And with the on-board water system I have...the more water containers, the better!

 

Forgot to mention that I swapped out the 13" 650lb coils that came with the Icon extended coilovers with ADS/Eibach 14" 700lb coils last month. With all the added weight, the 650's felt too soft. Any time I would stop, it would dip. It also felt more tipsy during those highway P-turn on and off ramps. That was on 8 Sep 2017. I also got another alignment after that coil swap.

This past weekend, I needed an oil change and I finally installed the Fumoto valve. Hopefully the last time it'll be a messy oil change with skids.

I was only supposed to change my oil and add the Fumoto valve. But my buddy's schedule opened up so we ended up installing the waterproof LED bed and hood lights from mattgecko, and also a pair of headlight bulb replacements -- XenonPro LED lo/hi-beam 45W (white). Local, fellow TW member had a spare set and gave me a deal on the XenonPro's! Thanks @huli467!

I really need to wash my truck to take pictures. Especially under the hood.

Oh, and it was awesome to see @squint0241 beast on 35's and being so damn clean!

 

Oh, and I also replaced the SnugTop front seal and added the roof tracks for a future camper rack!

 

Installed mattgecko bed and hood lights (cool white), as well as mounted my WaterPort using Universal Bed Mounts by Zac of all trades and Quickfists.




Edit: I also installed cubby covers and surrounding seal from micwillia, but just on the passenger side (smaller cubby) because I haven’t tried to pull out the larger cubby with the hoses from the OBA and water pump for OBW.

 

Another update, installed these splash guards from cnote4l back in March. Still holding up strong!

Driver side looks exactly the same except I had to trim a small part of the splash guards that was making contact with a hose/clamp on my Icon tubular UCA. Circled for your viewing pleasure.

Also, want to go 35's, but it'll involve buying Bushwacker fender flares, cutting said Bushwackers and the fenders of the truck, modifying tabs and brackets for fender flares, wheel well liners, and rear mud flaps. Also a bit concerned of the added height and my parking garage of my condo. Maybe I should stick with 33's (285/70R17)?

The NRG's not too soft for you? Did you get E or C load rated? And what's up with the load C being about the same weight as the load E?

 

I'm not too honestly sure what the deal with that is

My tires are 6ply, for sure dont feel too soft at all.

Actually feels like I could drive over anything with these tires.
