Ill say this and I'm done. There wasn't near the backlash last year when OSU jumped Penn St. Also, if it was any other team besides Bama, this would not be a hot topic. Ultimately, until the playoffs go to 8 teams with 5 automatic qualifiers and 3 at large, this is what we will continue to see. Anyone that truly thinks Bama isn't a top 4 team based off this year alone is ridiculous, though.

Mel Tucker having a second interview with UT today. I’ll be pissed if he leaves right now before the biggest game for this program in 37 years

He'd be stupid to leave for that dumpster fire. Especially with Fulmer telling them how much he will be involved in day to day stuff.

The wife and I have been trying to plan a trip out to the Rose bowl this year. Plane tickets from Atlanta to LA is running around $600 round trip while flights into Vegas is $440. After adding everything up we decided that we are going to skip this trip. I already broke the bank on the App State, ND trip, and SEC Championship tickets this year.

I highly doubt Mel will leave for UT. Think Kirby and Mel have a good relationship together.

a lot of bad ass stuff
I personally think its crappy, when ever a coach is still in their season and another team is trying to poach them away, or the coach leaves before their season is done.
But at the end of the day now, its just a business.

We got the flights with points so that helped... tickets aren't that bad. but yeah, after ND trip and St. Simons for GA/GL, and SEC tickets, this is an expensive season. NC tix will be even more insane, but at least I won't need any flights or hotel for that.

That would be stupid to me because of how biased it would be. Coaches in the playoff contention would vote Baylor so they wouldnt have to play harder teams. You also would have coaches that hold grudges against other teams. Just like an Auburn head coach would not vote for their two main rivals in Georgia and Alabama.

In theory this would be better but you would not be able to control the biased of the coaches. If you told them who to choose they really wouldnt be choosing, then you would argue over why they can only vote for this team or that team, who decides who they vote for?

I dont see it that bad really. I think it is fine the way it is, and thats coming from an Auburn fan that would still be in the playoffs if it was an 8 team. I think winning your conference should hold a lot more weight than it did these past two years.

Face value for NC tix should be $450, $575, and $650

At least that's the price for Clemson requests and in line with what I paid last year

If i can find them at face value... I am guessing I won't meet the cutoff for donor level. Hearing the donor points (which basically equates to dollars donated) cutoff for Rose Bowl is 32k, which is right where it was for SEC Champ, which we had to buy on secondary market. I'm guessing Nat. Champ will be at least equal to SEC Champ cutoff.

It just might, talk about a motivation game. Auburn doesn't want to be there...UCF wants nothing more than to beat a power 5 school. Look out.

Wouldnt suprise me. I think we win 45-21 but Gus has sucked in bowl games. UCF is out to prove the college football world what they about are about while Auburn just got embarrassed and does not want to be there.

It may be different but basically same scenario for Clemson...but because there were less ACCCG tix available for the school to sell...it didn't make a lot of sense but the allotment was more for the NC last year, and supposedly will be again this year

If the BCS was still a thing, the final BCS poll this year would look like this...
    1. Clemson .986
    2. Georgia .938
    3. Oklahoma .932
    4. Alabama .849
    5. tOSU .848
    6. Wisconsin .781
    7. USC .710
    8. auburn .706
    9. UCF .697
    10. Penn State .664
    11. Miami .605
    12. Washington .530
Pretty dang close b/w Alabama and tOSU in the BCS system, too!

Yeah you can buy a NC ticket on stubhub right now for $1500!!!!!! I know prices will fall once they released more tickets to the school that get in. I'm 1 1/2 hours north of Atlanta so do not have to worry about that as well. I was lucky enough to get tickets the SEC Championship for face value!

I'm debating on getting season tickets next year for UGA.
