    Installs? Yes.
Works exactly as envisioned by the engineers at Toyota? Unknown.
In theory it should work as it's just millimeter wave radar not necessarily height dependent, not camera aiming. Also installed exactly the
same on the pro with the same module in the same spot on the grille. Folks who have done it say "works fine". Time will tell.
I'm putting a pro grille on my 2018 when I get it, weber grill tss be damned.

Thanks kurpak...It seems I saw that the radar was actually 'built in' to the front emblem on the grill on the '18 and thus the pro grill, or any other grill, wouldnt work. Clearly I'm wrong I guess.

The module is just a box that is screwed onto the back of the emblem, or into the slot below the Tacoma logo on the pro.. same part.
Some photos from recent threads showing the 2018 attachment behind the logo on top, pro on bottom. If anyone's lawyer is wondering, I absolve myself from any safety related mishaps or liability when tinkering with, or altering any Toyota vehicle safety systems.

I ordered mine on Nov 20th. Canada Post says expected delivery is tomorrow. Says they ship 1 day after receiving payment.

So that would make it 12 business days. I don't know about you guys but I'm super happy something from China that size comes that quickly to me for essentially no shipping charge. I wait for a whole week for some stuff from USA and pay $20-$40 USD for shipping most of the time.

I paid 336.85$can for the shipping + 265$can of customs duty fees (surprise at reception to my door) on my trd pro wheels that came from the US, just on the other side of the border ........ This grille came from China, free shipping, no charge!

Pulled up next to a pro grille and after seeing a lot of pics of it online, I was actually pretty underwhelmed of how it looked in person. I thought I'd like the stick out look but I didn't. So I designed a grille myself. I know a lot of people aren't crazy about the pro grille and would prefer supporting USA manufacturing. Thought I'd help anyone looking for an alternative of this grille that will actually give the pro grille some competition check out: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/xtec-grille-insert-option.521061/

Son-of-a-bitch that's beautiful. I'm not sure how I'll feel about the sticking-out on my new grill - get it and will install this week. I supported 'Merica and went through CaliRaisedLED for my faux grill (found a promo code to drop price to where paying a little more was worth getting UPS ground shipping and American customer service instead of sweating the inbound China journey and time delay)

I like how the horizontal lines of this grille match the existing lines on the bumper and headlight inserts. Nice work!

This would be a great OEM style grille. Send this design to Toyota and work out a deal! I like it...

Got mine today. Packaged great, 1 piece design, you can see some injection tabs on the back broken off from the molding process, but everything that's supposed to be there is there and aesthetically it looks minty OEM fresh. 1 piece, seems solid, looks clean af. Best $100ish mod since my OEM bed mat. Now I can get rid of my spray painted cheese grader without spending $500 on a hunk of metal or OEM plastic.

Yep, just checked the back - Made in Taiwan. Same molding process breakoffs. It's definitely the same one Vankulture sells.

I dont have arrival info either. Its just my assumption that it will hopefully go thruough customs within 24hrs and sorted out for shipment to a more local USPS hub in the next day or two.
