I wouldn't trust standing on the roll up version. The aluminum slats just don't feel strong or thick enoughin order to support that much weight.

My set up was/is a temp one and was wondering how I came across.
I gave it to Cory to do most of the talking since I was driving, but didn't know how well it was heard.
He was giving/confirming with Rebecca for directions on the way out.

Same here, yet my last 2 years worth of pieces worked I almost do half of someone else's numbers on top of my own. I got a better raise in retail 25 years ago

having got 2... My 2002 reg. cab rides better with the weight back there. But the weight up high messes with my stability - which I assume is the truck telling me to buy lots of $u$pen$ion bit$. Also didn't like the cut in visibility. Glad you're liking yours.

 

I have a tri fold & love it. If I need full bed I just take it off, comes off so easy it's no bother.
But I can see a simplicity to the roll up models, assuming they easily roll up by one person standing on 1 side of the truck.

 

Hey now - that extra NH heft will provide you shade in the summer & heat in the winter.

 

I had a roof top mag mount antenna this weekend past & kept hearing it PTHWANGing off stuff. If you go high as possible, be sure you've got a spring or such flex built into it.

 

Only use it anymore for runs, so I mount it on the passenger seat. Otherwise it's on a shelf in the house or garage.
