When your tires are further out than your fenders they make a nice upsidedown rain / dirt / rock spray that fans out towards and away from your truck that coats the side of your vehicle. Look at any pic of Blackdawg's long travel truck in mud and you'll see what I mean :)

Yep, with glass fenders its part of the lifestyle. If you go fast enough, you might even earn some trophy rock chips!

Install on my +2 kit from Baja Kits went really smooth (other than me buying the wrong CV boot kit, but that's on me). Not sure what all the hoopla is about...had the old suspension ripped off and the new arms, coilovers, TREs, steering and limit straps put on in like 3 or 4 hours. Axles would've been done too, but I screwed up the boots part lol

I'm looking at diy rhinoliner to save some money. Air compressor, gun that comes with the paint, some plastic and a calm day.

Oh IDGAF about the paint. If anyone does what I do and want their paint to last..they are in the wrong hobby haha That said I have a small dream of using raptor liner that is dye able to get back to silver. If you use paint thinner it can be sprayed from a paint gun so look fairly smooth vs most bed liners.

What sucks is just the colossal amount of shit that goes flying everywhere and covers literally everything every time you think about a dirty water hole but don't even make eye contact.

I’ve used the DIY raptor stuff. It didn’t last. It chips. I sanded the whole bed and used a self etching primer then sprayed the bed. I did it at work so I didn’t have to worry about the mess. It will hold up to light mud but if your tire grabs a good size rock it will chip.

    Respec.

But is it your dd ;)

I'm considering mine a restomod. I really like that kind of project - once I have another dd it'll probably go slightly feral lol

I have by bumpers and sliders Line-X and just an FYI if/when you get mud on it it's a royal PITA to clean. You basically have to use a scrub brush to dig the mud out of the texture.

Monstaliner seems to have a more washable surface than some other rough texture finishes. I've read it washes off more easily. Rustoleum bedliner is the same way as line x it sounds. Impossible to get black once it's dirty. Of course you could always tint your paint the color of dirt ;)
