They added a carpool lane to the freeway entrance by my place and it just slowed things down even more. Was slow before with 2 lanes merging into one. All they did was add another lane with the same fucking bottleneck that only the selfish douchebags use anyway. 3 lanes to 1. Brilliant.

Phase one of BART-to-nowhere ends in my backyard. Passenger service for no one is set to begin mid next year. The next phase through downtown SJ to SJC currently has a projected completion date of 2026; not going to happen. My station is awful purty, though. Complete with a 1,200 car garage!

They need to extend BART out to Tracy. Or even Livermore would be OK. I hate driving to the city.

Yes many settings. Never had a problem. I like that it has 6 arms to secure the spring.

I took BART from Richmond to fruitvale once. Something like 5 stops? Never again.

What’s worse than the pointless carpool lanes are the traffic lights on the ramps. We’re not LA we don’t need them in Vacaville and Dixon. What a waste and annoyance.

Finished the bags. 20171205_121137.jpgWhile working on the bags this car is flat bedded in. Owner and his friend put new wheel studs in. The tire flew off on the road.20171205_121150.jpgLater I was replacing a tire and didn't notice the outside. I did on the inside. Fuck it hurt.20171205_120101.jpgAnd before lunch put a battery & a marine style terminal in a Tacoma.20171205_125346.jpg 20171205_125436.jpg

What you don’t like getting stopped 15 ft before the merge so you have no choice but to merge doing 25?

I'm up near Sacramento, if all else fails I might take you up on that but I will most likely figure it out before it comes to that. I do appreciate the offer but it would require 2 trips down there for pre and post rebuild so I'm hoping to find a local solution.

    Some really cool shit
So, I did the cuts today, at work. Man, that seriously degrades the structural integrity of the bracket. Sucker would bend in half if not for the bumper brace sitting on it to prevent just that. But, of course, on Sunday I cut the bolts flush with the nut, so now they are too short. Gonna pick up some bolts tomorrow, and finish the job. May weld a stringer across that open space in the middle of resi bracket.

That depends on if you use it or not... $1.50 to drive 65 instead of 30 when you're running late? I've paid a lot more for a lot less...

Bonus: My fastrak is on my dashboard but hasn't beeped or charged the account for the last month I've been using that lane. :burnrubber:
