Anybody from out the states recently transfer their rig?

How hard is it to get the vin inspection and weigh in? Smog is cake.

 

Freeman Toyota has oil filters for $4.99, about the same price as six-packs on eBay/Amazon. Batteries for $119.00 + tax labor included, Air filters at 15% off, around $20, once again as cheap as Amazon. This runs thru the month of december.

Shouldn’t be that hard. I’ve taken some pickups to the weigh station areas to get weighed.. and then the dmv literally walked around the truck and said; “looks good.” That was it. Now, I can’t speak for any custom trucks like this bad boy you say you are picking up. Lol. I also haven’t done any of these weigh-ins or inspections for a few years. Things might have changed. Could run into issues with the quick inspection (maybe even the weigh-in process because it’s a pickup) as the rig you are trying to get is built. I don’t see it happening where you have issues, but who knows.

Yeah you should be ok man. I’m not familiar with reasons why you would be denied for anything, but it is CA. They could have some limitations.

It’s Ferny, nothing!

 

I am.

They’re good. Decent on pavement. They’re a softer compound. Aggressive treads and great on trails.

But, they’re noisy AF. and haven’t been the best tires to balance. I watched the tire guys struggle with at least one every time I go in for a root/balance.

I won’t be going with another set. I’ll probably make the jump to MT’s after this.

For an AT, I’d recommend the Toyo ATII’s. I loved them.

vin inspection was stupid easy, DMV clerk did it right outside. just compared vin to paperwork, and made sure there werent any "illegal" mods and shit. took like 2 minutes. weight, shoot @Drtgrl a PM...
