    1. Hanging - too old school but might appeal to others.
    2. Electric chair - exploding brains???
    3. Cut off hands - he can still run and kick in doors/windows, use his teeth to grab shit.
    4. Death by Piranhas - sounds interesting
    5. Tar and feather - no mental or physical damage
    6. Firing squad - too swift

Welp here it is folks, the part numbers are different for a reason.
2004 window vs 1996. See the difference? A hair over 1/32 of an inch.

Stick some paper between the window and the weather stripping for now :notsure:

You could probably sell that window for a profit on Craigslist if not at least break even btw

It's fine as long as the window isn't cracked. Rolled up, it's tight.

My window rattles too after retrofitting power windows. I used the original 1998 window glass but a 2004 window regulator. The passenger side doesn't rattle but the driver's side does. I think it's because of the window track being not tight enough

ugh. Just did a part lookup.

    Shared window part #s:
    2003, 2002, 2001: 68101-04070
    2000, 1999, 1998, 1997, 1996: 68101-AD020-83
    2004: 68101-04110

Of course my 2004 has to be a special fucking snowflake.

Man that fucking blows, can't leave anything out in the open. Dillhole probably thought it was a dash cam as those can be rather expensive, radar detectors ain't worth shit anymore since almost all agencys use laser now, by the time anything picks that up you're already done. New sales on detectors are WAY down can't imagine there any second hand market for them.

But hey it's a theif, they can't be too smart to begin with right. They've been known to risk their lives and freedom for a couple gallons of gas. It'll catch up to them eventually.

Sorry your truck got screwed with. Never a nice thing to come out to. Especially when it happens at home, that shit just fucks with your head.

I hope you get the window issue fixed, only thing I could think of in the mean time is to maybe shim or bend the top mount points of the window track so it tips the window inboard slightly putting greater pressure on the inside seal? Dunno if that's even feasible, not too familiar with window stuff.

They are the same part number for double cab and extra cab
    68101-04070 is for blue tint
68101-04110 is for a greenish tint..

So the only difference between 2001-2003 windows and 2004 window is the tint color, presumably.

Maybe in your area, but in mine they are still using KA a lot. My (stolen) unit did pick up laser, but you know how that goes... by the time it alerts you of a laser, it's too late. But you're right, on ebay, these 9500ix's are barely going for $150 used. Probably enough for a crackhead to get his nightly fix.

You're right about it fucking with your head, everytime I hear any kind of noise outside, I'm peeping out of the window with my pistol in hand.

The window is fine and doesn't move if it's rolled up... just rattles like crazy when rolled down. Got a lead on a 2004 parts truck, now I just need to make sure it's legit a 2004. I've ordered a new window on Amazon but it's not in stock so I can prob cancel the order if I can make sure I'm getting the correct part this time
