    Ribs were cooking a little too fast for me. Decided to wrap them up after coating with honey and adding apple juice. I will check on them at 3. Wrapped turkey legs with bacon.

    Smoking is not an exact science when it comes to smoking meats. Everything looks and smells great. I have both meats resting for about an hour now. I finished an hour sooner than expected. I took off the ribs then opened all the bottom vents on the WSM with the turkey legs and potato still on the grill. The temp rose to 345 and browned the bacon as expected in 10 minutes. I removed the turkey legs and left the baked potato on the grill. I hope dinner tastes as well as it smells. 20171201_145300.jpg 20171201_150602.jpg

    Ribs were excellent. Turkey legs were good. So good I will do them again.

    All gone. :D


    We had aa family movie night last night. Today was spent working with the Boy Scouts on an Eagle Scout project at church.

    Thank you for the help on a router. Decided to purchase all Bosch. Plunger router, 10 bit set, and the better router benchtop table. Total cost was $417 off of Amazon. Bundling the table and the bit set saved about $73. Already looking at projects around the home to use the new tool on.
