    Pretty much stock right now
I put one of these, or one similar anyway, on three years ago. Overall fit was ok, the OEM covers and license plate lights fit ok too. I painted the inside to try to slow down the rust, but it's rusting anyway. I didn't expect greatness, and surely didn't get it, but for the price it's ok. This was to replace a rusted out OEM chrome bumper. I'll be happy if it lasts five years. It's certainly not going to protect you very much if it gets hit, but either will an OEM bumper.

It's kind of funny that they list the Ebay bumper as "powder coated black". But it sounds like some prep, paint and clear is a a good idea to keep it looking good longer.

Sounds like I should just save my $93 and put it towards the bumper I really want. I’m trying to get rid of all the chrome, but I want whatever I buy to last a long time.

Thanks for the pics Stan. Looks like you did a goos job color matching and painting. A litte more TLC would have helped it stay looking better. But you obviously use your truck a good bit... uh I mean your wife does. ;)

When I was still paying on it I didn’t take it off road but now that it’s paid off I take it everywhere imaginable

I bought a black one on eBay for my truck a couple years back. Structurally, it's nice. It doesn't seem much different than OEM. The finish on it, though, faded pretty badly. And my truck is garage kept so it's not sitting out in the sun getting weathered. I'll probably just sand it and rattle can it black when it warms up in the spring. I would probably buy it again given the chance, and just sand/paint it right away before installing it.

Of course I drove it to work for six years over a mountain, it got a lot of dings from stones in the winter. A lot of little rust marks on the paint from them. Maybe someday I’ll get it repainted who knows
