Shit if I didn't have to spend so much to get my truck to passed emission i would be all over this. If I end up robbing my local Leprechaun how much do you want for the set of 4? I rather go 315 but these are better then my 265s ATM.

Fill the tank up with some race fuel (Tom Thumb on Bell sells 95 and 100 at the pump it's expensive but amazing) or add some highest grade alcohol to your tank(do some research on that)

lol the math does add up haha. Idk man like i said im hurting for money right now cause of the parts im buying. I would really only have 250 at the moment until i can catch the local Leprechaun or until next pay. but keeping my truck on the road is first priority for me.

I'm having lean bank 1&2 right now and cant figure out why (Codes p0171 and P0174). Most of everyone thinks it the MAF sensor but it has just been replace but not with a Toyota factory which is my next investment which will make me go in the negatives. The guy i bought the 4runner from put a Jerry rigged cold air intake so i replaced it with a factory 06 air box but had to cut out were the MAF goes cause the 06 have different MAF sensor but i cant imagine that would stop the MAF from working. I'm on the hunt right now to find a stock AIR box for a 03 or 04 but its impossible to find. then if that doesn't work then the fuel pump and filter which will suck a bunch of donkey dicks to drop the gas tank. You don't have a stock air box laying around by chance that i can use till i pass emission?

That sounds like a fun experiment, Does that just help heat everything up and burn a lot of shit out of the engine?. I live in Tucson so when i come to pick something up in phoenix ill do that and race Honda home lol.

Could it be your O2 sensor? this sh_T is magical i run it every other tank instead of running 91 octane https://lucasoil.com/products/fuel-treatments/lucas-fuel-treatment

Race fuel burns clean if you tail pipe has to be sniffed, but if you are throwing codes it won't help there. I'm sure you can find some 5 gallon VP race fuel in Tucson tins. Call around to some race shops.

I use that stuff as well it works great. Idk at this point. I have change Spark plugs, MAF sensor, change the only burnt 02 sensor, clean my intake manifold, change the gas cap.

the only things i haven't done is change the rest of the 02 sensors, change the fuel pump and filter and buy a factory MAF apposed to the aftermarket one I bought. and finding the correct Air box for a 03 4runner with the 4.7L is hard. I have the baster child of the years and i cant find a stock air box. so i might go a different route i just don't have a bunch of money right now.

Lean codes are often an indication of unmetered air entering the intake. If air is entering after the MAF (or maybe around it in your case), the ECM is unable to accurately account for it and adds fuel based on O2 sensor readings.

Also post CAT O2 sensors do not change lean/rich conditions, they only monitor CAT efficiency. If you already changed the pre CAT O2 sensor then almost guarantee the problem is the intake and/or MAF
