well my 16 Colorado diesel does not have push button start and they don't offer it. I know the diesel Canyon does not have it either.

I think that is why he said he went with the Tacoma. The Colorado/Canyon didn't have what he wanted.

that makes since. Well I can tell you the Tacoma interior is way inferior with exception to the Car play. I don't use car play anyway so that plus is not a plus to me in my Colorado. The other better issue is the seat position in the Colorado and the diesel purrs down the hyw . But im coming back to Tacoma and will live with the seat position and figure it out.

Good to hear you are coming back to Tacoma. Are you leaving the Colorado, or just adding the Taco back in the quiver?

I'm not a GM kinda guy, so the twins never crossed my mind. I've had great success owning two other Toyota trucks, as well as our '16 Corolla.

I would have possibly considerd a Ford if they still had a foot in the door with a midsized truck, but then again I never really liked the looks of the Ranger when it was available.

no I will trade in. I trade every 2 years as normal because of my mileage with my commute. I put on about 33k a year to 36k a year miles on my vehicle. So the cost you cant ever catch and feel the cost per month doesn't get much better after 2 years with the mileage. Kept my 09 Ridgeline for 5 and 160k and luck had it with no issues besides normal service when needed. After all those cost added in and tires and timing belt etc the cost per month at trade was only $80 month cheaper than if I traded at 24 months. If id of had break down or other issues it real easy could of went other way. All my others I usually trade at 2. I have been very happy with the Colorado diesel and power train on hyw is smooth and mpg average over life of the 50k miles I have on it has been 27.4. I am actually trading 3 months early or it would be 63k. But 2 model years still. It does have lot of rattles and vibration that if I looked hard could probably find but out of warranty I wasn't going to pay them to try to fix them and there are a lot.

That's a big fat negative. Rumor has it, reviews have been so bad on entune....Toyota is finally looking to buy apple licensing.

That's the main reason I'm holding out for the 2019. If they address that, put in led headlights, I'm happy.

I talked to the parts guy and he's looking. I'm going to talk to the dealer principle in the afternoon. He's the one that informed me of the Tacoma remote.

I sure as hell hope so! lol

You know, I bet it wouldn't get such bad reviews if they had simply included Apple CarPlay and/or Android Auto!

It looks like the new jeeps will be getting LEDs standard. Maybe this will force Toyota to do the same with the Tacos in 19...

Also, another thing to add about Entunes...I was looking at companies that already have Android Auto, and JBL is listed. It would be nice if we got Androind Auto and Apple CarPlay when you paid the extra $$ to upgrade to the JBL package! grrrr

I wanted cement but seeing them so much it basically looks like silver now. I second guess myself and ask is that silver? Or cement today at the dealer. Makes me wonder if i should go back to quicksand or try white out
