I had my first one done on Jan 5, 2016 and I've got back problems as well. The worst thing for me is not being able to work (put mods) on my truck, because I can't kneel down. I've got shocks and struts from a 3rd gen, add a leaf set, and a IFS skid (on order), and red line hood struts to install.

Nope, I use torque($5) and a bluetooth OBDII ($12) from Amazon. Gives all the same things, I like torque better personally because it offers more.

Here on my torque app, I have both transmission temps, battery voltage, and coolant with an exact # cuz I like seeing it.

I haven't used Torque in 4+ years (with my WRX [RIP]), but when I did, it was a major battery-hog, just by being installed. It had some background process that just sucked battery life, even when the app wasn't "running." Anyone having those issues now?

I use it on my old Samsung S3, it will go 4 hours to about 40% battery from 100%. So yea its a bit hungry.

I only run the app when I want it, to close it you have to exit it properly or it leaves back group process running all the time.

Can you run diagnostics with it?

As in read diagnostic trouble codes and reset them, Yes.

It is very handy out on the trail I must say, I was wheeling with some guys a little more adventurous then me. One guy sucked some water into his little Suzuki, and it would not start after. We popped the OBDII sensor in his rig, opened torque and read the trouble code. He knew which sensor was causing it, pulled it out, dried it out. Fired up.

I use Torque on my old amoled HTC Incredible. I have no issues at all with the battery. I do have Torque set to go to sleep when I turn the truck off, and bluetooth also stops until I start the truck again.

It felt like it took me 18-24 months before I could get around like I did before I had my fusion (L5-S1). Don't push yourself to hard.

I do feel like it's taking forever, but it's only been 6 months. L3,L4, and L5 cage fused with laminectomy on L2 and L3. I have a feeling this is going to turn into early retirement. I'm 62 now.

I'm almost 51 now and still recovering from second shoulder surgery in a year and my return to my previous job isn't looking good. My back is also torn up and they're looking at fusing like 6 vertebrae the future is a little unsettling

I had my back surgery when I was 41, and my left knee replacement at age 50. My latest MRI of my mid to lower spine shows I have degenerative bone disease from L1 down. Garth Brooks made this song just for me.
