Just set up my account on Binance with no trouble. How exactly do I add funds to make purchases?

    Never enough
Traders like him who have lots of skin in the game usually make stop loss orders to automatically sell their coins if it dips down too much. In that scenario they wouldnt even need to log into their account for their coins to sell. They could just log in later once the traffic died down to reinvest or cash out to fiat. They have a similar order type for taking profit, but I cant remember the name of it at the moment cause I am still pretty new to this stuff.

OK guys. I am new on this like I have said, and I am a bit slow on the learning curve for this. I don't want to make any mistakes, and prefer to get info from friends on here than just random info searches. So I have created my Binance account. How do I go about getting USD into it, and then buying crypto?

I read through this entire thread last night and it's very interesting. I'm thinking of investing some money in this as well but also agree with what your saying. Has anyone recently cashed out any sizable amount and if so how did it go.

Purchase BTC or ETH at an exchange like coinbase (USD to CRYPTO)
    https://www.coinbase.com/join/5a1f8594036e9302ab466d65

Then transfer BTC to Binance and trade (Crypto to crypto)

Wow, I remember looking at it less than a year ago and a bitcoin was like $1000. I could have 12x the money had I bought one then!

Well this comes down to your knowledge of cryptocurrencies. That's why I invest in the ones that actually have a purpose. IOTA, BTC, DASH, ETH. And I have no desire to switch to fiat in the near future. But when I do it won't be a problem. I will first send it back to either Bittrex and/or GDAX then do one of three things. One, convert it to fiat by selling on the exchange and sending just 2 or 3 thousand a week to my bank. Two, transfer the whole amount to my bank and pay taxes and be done with it. Or three, transfer my crypto to a debit card that is just for cryptocurrencies, run by VISA, that converts it to fiat on the spot as you make your transaction (there are several out now and more are coming). But yes, I don't sell IOTA to fiat, you actually cannot. You have to buy/sell it with BTC or ETH and there are a couple others. But it is no issue to sell IOTA or crypto at anytime on exchanges. I've done it several times where I needed some quick cash and sold a few ETH and had it sent to my bank account.

Also, I am sure that most cryptos won't make it so just invest in the ones that have a legit purpose and have upcoming plans/conferences whatever to explain their uses and applications. The only way the main cryptos will go away and die is if someone shut off the internet around the globe. Not gonna happen.

I want to invest. I do. But, I am wondering if I hold off. Gotta be a bubble hit soon. You can't raise $5k in less than 3 months and not expect something.

Start with IOTA and ETH. I don't mess with BTC because its all about multiplication. (Just an example saying BTC 11k) If I have 6 BTC or use that money and buy IOTA for $6 so 11,000 IOTA. Price goest to 12k on BTC so you make $6000. If the price of IOTA goes to $7 then you just made $11000. It's all about how many times you can multiply that price increase. It's much easier for a coin to go from $5 to $50 then from $12,000 to $120,000

So where do you start from? I know the link above. But it only gives you the option for BTC, ETH or LTC. Coinbase doesn't have all the offerings. Either does Blockchain. What digital wallet do you start with to purchase IOTA?

OK, Coinbase is about to get a serious phone call and a piece of my mind! I just bought $100 of Bitcoin to just get started and learn the ropes. The transaction took money from my bank, but my wallet says I have NO BITCOIN in it!
