You were probably one of last to ship from China before he switched shipping out of Hong Kong. I ordered on Nov 22nd, still shows processed thru the Hong Kong mail facility. Nothing in US yet.

 

Looks great! came in 2 weeks and had 1 broken tab. The old one was a pain to remove until I realized I needed to REMOVE THE SCREWS FROM THE CHROME BEZEL BEFORE UNDOING THE CLIPS

 

LS300546718CN cant find anything about it anywhere. Id at least like to see that it is sitting on a dock somewhere. this was the 108.88 grille.

I'm in the same boat as you...perhaps literally. Ordered the 22nd, nothing US yet. If I get it I will post here...this is just the anticipation and broken tab report thread at this point.

 

FML man, shipped from China/Hongkong on the 23rd....still showing no America status.....if this thing shows up in bad condition I am going to be pissed lol Let the wait continue. It would appear that a few of our Taco grilles are all sitting on the same boat or dock lol

 

Well took like 10-11 days to get here and it’s finally here! Grille is a two piece, no broken tabs, appears as solid as can be, ordered from bruceshark, came from DHL, and China did not let me down! Pics coming tonight after work

 

Ordered on Nov 15th from motorfansclub, “shipped” on Nov 21st, tracking finally showed an update yesterday, arrived today requiring signature.

Package arrived in pretty good shape but upon opening I found one broken tab. All the tabs had poked through the bag. Definitely not the greatest pack job. Going along with the consistently bad ones...I was the unlucky recipient of a one piece grill. Mold quality is bad with sinking and flashing. And even worse, the entire grill was molded in gray plastic and painted. Only the insert for the TSS sensor was molded from black plastic. Also - I don’t recall seeing this on other one piece grills but the Toyota letters are separate but were pre-installed (see back photo).

I’ve emailed motorfansclub asking for a two piece replacement made from all black plastic. These have so far been great quality as seen in the photos in this thread. I highly recommend requesting the two piece grill when ordering.

Unscrew the little screws that hold the bezel on, it makes removing the clips much easier.

 

I got mine thru grill-pro aka motorfansclub ordered 11/12 received 11/24. Mine is flawless. It was a 2 piece. Just wonder if the demand has caused them to bypass the QA process. I would demand a refund and/or a replacement 2 piece version. The only thing not completely black on mine was the back side of the letter insert piece. Also wonder if they have sub'd out to keep up with demand. Seems like those receiving sub-par products have been getting refunds and/or replacements which shows they appear to be somewhat conscientious about the product and feedback. Good luck.

 

Idk what I did wrong but I just started snapping every clip in half from the original shroud because that bitch was not coming out (yes I took the 18 screws out first). Took it straight to the trash.

Okay, overall the grille fit perfectly and I never want to experience that frustration again haha.
