Mines been in the body shop for two days now while they figure out what they need to sublet. Took the adjuster over a week to show up to even do the lowball estimate. Accident was the 21st of last month, luckily not my fault but definitely sucks waiting on people who could care less.

I did a list of stuff that was in there... And keep realizing more. (Did tablet and tech deck but not the expensive AF ram mounts). Passport, etc. So i guess I'll make another list along with the monthly payment since they had possession. Need to look and see when that is paid.

lol- I tried to get a ton of points when I attempted to buy my Tacoma with a Credit Card and Dealership was like NO, no more than $3K because they lose money otherwise. Said that people try to do this daily.

Most of my 15ish have been. But those were all under $10k.

Selling a car for $19k and the guy bringing a backpack of cash to the bank was quite interesting.

    Plethora of "useless" shit
    Did the backpack smell skunky?

Edit: Had a roommate in college that came home one day with a brick inside his duffel bag. He proceeded to break it apart, threw a few clumps on the table, and said that he "should" be back in about an hour with rent...I moved out shortly after that :cookiemonster:

    Never enough
I didnt even think a dealership would allow you to buy a ~$20k+ car with cash. I'd think they would make you go to the bank for a cashiers check because cash is too big a liability for them.

I charge every business and personal expense, including healthcare premiums, on my credit card save for my mortgage and utilities because it's not allowed. It adds up for sure.

I respect your abacus and ink & quill ledger ways. But credit card/bank companies already have all your information. Ever read the 40 pages of extra fine print when you open a bank account? Or get auto/home/life insurance? Your information is sold on lists. Buy online? Sheeet... your information is all over the place for marketing purposes.

    Yup.

My grandfather told me when I was a little kid, "don't spend money you don't have."

I treat my credit card like a debit card. If I can't pay off the statement when it's due... I don't buy whatever it is I'm looking at.

I wish I could pay my mortgage with a credit card. That'd be great accruals.

Hopefully you had guns in it too. Just push them aside and say don’t mind those.
